Marketing Engine celebrates first six months with key client wins

A marketing start-up set up earlier this year by two seasoned marketers has announced a raft a new client wins in its first six months.

Marketing Engine is a cloud-based marketing attribution platform, which aims to reduce the smoke and mirrors from marketing.

Users can build, share and edit their marketing plan on the platform and then overlay their results to attribute activity to results which impact the business’ bottom line.

The company was launched in April by entrepreneurs Aimee Muirhead and Kieron Goldsborough and won work for North East brands like Hedgehog Lab, Jacksons Law and Premier Tech Aqua.

Speaking about the firm’s performance so far, Aimee said: “We are thrilled at the response to Marketing Engine from some of the North East’s top brands.

“We are working with customers from lots of sectors including manufacturing, leisure, retail, law and property and it’s been really exciting to see how each business is using the platform in different ways to show the impact of their marketing activity on the business and thus make better decisions on where to allocate budget in future.”

One of the first customers on the new platform was creative agency Hedgehog Lab.

Billy Wood, marketing manager at Hedgehog Lab, said: “In a world where marketers are increasingly overwhelmed by the amount of data and information they have to track, any tool that legitimately helps to simplify this process and save time is an absolute godsend.

“Which is why we’re so excited to start using Marketing Engine on the Hedgehog Lab marketing team and make it a central part of our marketing tech stack.

“Not only will it save us countless hours every week pulling data together it also provides a quick and elegant way to show the impact of our marketing efforts to the wider business.”
