Chairman, Bedlington Terriers FC. Est. 1949
I became involved in the club seven years ago through Keith Perry, who had told me the club was going to fold as the previous chairman was in bad health.
Our motto, Virtus Unita Fortis, sums us up; it means ‘united we act stronger’.
The club is financed by a social club and donations. We could always do with more funding as it’s a struggle every week to meet our commitments. We survived a winding up order in recent years which took a massive toll on the club.
Driving our plans for new floodlights, clubhouse and 3G pitch forward. We’ve done so much hard work and need to drag it over the line but need help from the local council.
