GT3 Architects is determinedly people-focused. We position people, not buildings, at the heart of our projects, working to ensure that the spaces we create are not just beautiful, but that they deliver real, enduring value to the people who use and operate them long into the future. It’s an approach to engagement and thoughtful creativity that we like to call ‘People Architecture’.
We are advocates of early engagement to fully understand and develop our clients’ brief, ensuring that all community aspects are considered. Diligent follow-up to evaluate project outcomes helps us to ensure the very best results for our clients. We not only bring our experience to our projects, but also the lessons we have learnt and the knowledge of how we can add value to deliver successful outcomes.
People Architecture drives GT3 Architects’ strong company culture. It manifests in how we engage our clients and communities, the transparency that we foster throughout our projects and the opportunities that we provide for our staff. While our culture is most important because it represents us as individuals and leads to success for our clients, it has undoubtedly brought other benefits too. We have a higher than industry average ratio of female to male Architects (1:1) and the performance of our architects is significant when compared to statistics published in the AJ100.
We have developed a reputation for our creativity and innovation, supported by a proven track record of translating bold concepts into elegant technical details and successful project delivery.
Most of our projects are commissioned by repeat clients and/or won in competition, which reflects both our commitment to ongoing client service and design creativity. It is an approach that has led to continued growth for the company, helping us on our way to become a Top 100 UK Practice and more importantly, a Top 100 place to work.
GT3 Architects delivers projects throughout the UK from our studios in Newcastle and Nottingham. We demonstrate particular expertise in sports and leisure, masterplanning and workplace design, but we’ve also earned recognition for our innovative and sustainable projects in a range of sectors including education, civic, retail and residential.
