A portable container hire firm is providing a free support programme to help charities and organisations deliver critical services in the fight against coronavirus.

Mobile Mini is offering free storage to local charities for up to six months.

The Stockton-headquartered firm is also providing 72 hours of free container hire to businesses needing space to hold stock and abide by social distancing regulations.

Andrew Thompson, Mobile Mini managing director, said the company was committed to helping “keep the nation in business.”

He also cited its legacy of support for charities and foundations, which has seen the business provide free hire services to community sports teams, food banks and organisations including Cleveland Mountain Rescue [pictured].

He said: “The country needs to pull together at a time like this, and we are passionate about providing as much help and support as we can.

“Organisations across the UK will inevitably be struggling, but we can offer an easy solution to that.

“With our range of secure storage containers and portable accommodation units, as well as other essential items such as fencing, lighting and chemical toilets, we want to do everything we can to keep the nation in business.”

Alongside its Stockton head office, Mobile Mini operates 15 branches nationwide.
