New partners unveiled as Ward Hadaway continues growth

A law firm has announced two new partners.

Kerry Adcock and Louise Cannell-Mirza have taken the title at Ward Hadaway’s Newcastle office.

Their appointments complement 15 further promotions at the company’s Quayside base.

Kerry, a specialist in public sector matters [pictured above, right], said: “I’d like to congratulate my fellow newly-promoted partners; this year we are certainly flying the flag for female leadership with women accounting for 60 per cent of all promotions.

“And as someone who trained here, I can vouch for the fact that for many years the firm has invested significantly in homegrown talent and it’s a place that offers fantastic opportunities for all – no matter their gender or background.”

Louise, who specialises in children and safeguarding, said: “Our people-first ethos allows us to focus on the best possible client experience, delivered with a friendly, no-nonsense approach, and that extends to how we treat each other within the firm.

“It’s a great place to work, and I’m excited to see what the future holds.”

Martin Hulls, managing partner, said: “Our team are exceptional lawyers, who thoroughly deserve their promotions, which reflect an important milestone in their individual careers.

“Our investment in the recruitment and development of our people is accelerating our growth.

“It’s an exciting time.”
