Winn Solicitors strengthens offering with department merger

A law firm has completed a merger it says will support future growth plans.

Winn Solicitors has created a serious and technical injury claims team following an amalgamation of its EL/PL technical claims team and complex team.

Bosses say the move will improve existing links between cases handled by the teams.

David Dewar, Winn Group associate director, said: “I am excited by the formation of the new team.

“It is the perfect blend of skills and experience, which will allow more of the recognition the personal injury department deserves.

“The formation of the new team, together with growth in new client instructions in the last 12 months, provides the ideal platform to continue our planned growth strategy, including further expansion into the serious injury claims arena.”

The move comes amid a period of growth for Winns, with a series of contract wins complementing a major recruitment drive that has nearly doubled employee headcount over the last 12 months.
