January 13, 2019
The Teesside branch of Park Electrical Distributors has been announced kit sponsor of the under-19 team at Seaton Carew FC.
The wholesale specialist has pledged its support to a number of charitable and community organisations and last year was a sponsor of Dormanstown FC.
Tony Arena, branch manager, said: “Park has been operating for nearly 30 years and has five branches, each of which is encouraged to support the local community.
“Having been based at Riverside Park for three years now, we try to support the local area as best we can. The North East is football mad and when we were approached to support Seaton Carew FC we were keen to get involved.
“It is fantastic that local clubs can provide an outlet for youngsters to bond together and have some fun, while keeping fit at the same time. From our experience, the coaches and management go above and beyond to fund the running of the clubs, so to be able to support Seaton Carew FC is something we are proud to do.”
Steve Bennison, under-19-coach at Seaton Carew FC, said: “The club is family focussed and open to people of all ages. We have a number of teams, from our tiny tots through to junior and senior and disability teams, all proudly competing under the Seaton Carew FC banner. We rely heavily on external support and the commitment that Park is making is a real boost both commercially and in terms of morale.”
