Symetri joins forces with Excitech after acquisition by Addnode Group

A North East-based provider of software and services for design and engineering activities has recently announced the acquisition of Excitech Ltd, a leading company in technology and services for the construction and manufacturing sectors.

Addnode Group, which owns Symetri, described the acquisition of the £50 million turnover company as in line with Symetri’s strategy to be an international market-leading provider of software and services to the industry.

With more than 3500 customers and 150 people, Excitech is an Autodesk platinum partner in the UK and a solution provider of CAD, BIM, PDM software, training and consultancy services.

Gosforth-headquartered Symetri’s acquisition of Excitech will also strength their market position in construction and manufacturing markets. It will create a customer base of more than 10,000 customers, enabling them to deliver more value.
