Rever Offshore completes triple contract for Total E&P UK

A subsea services company has strengthened its market standing with the completion of three contracts for an energy operator.

Rever Offshore, which has an office in Wallsend, carried out construction services and inspection, repair and maintenance work on Total E&P UK assets in the North Sea.

The contracts used Rever Offshore’s dive support and offshore construction vessel, the Rever Polaris, and remotely-operated vehicle support vessel, the Rever Sapphire.

All of the contract awards were the result of a long-standing frame agreement and represented a repeat of previous successful campaigns for the client.

Reflective of the work undertaken, Rever Offshore’s excellence in safety behaviours and performance was nominated for the annual Total E&P UK health and safety awards.

A further installation contract for the energy major was successfully completed in February, having been brought forward at the beginning of the year.

The project was recognised as being the first of its kind for Total E&P UK at such a depth of water and, based on its success, Total may consider this solution for future projects that display similar technical challenges.

It is expected that further work by Rever Offshore will continue into the latter half of 2019 as part of the continuous frame agreement.
