BIM Show Live issues a call for papers for 2020 event

A North East conference for the growing digital construction industry has issued a call for papers to identify speakers across a range of topics that will be discussed at the event.

BIM Show Live, which will be held on February 26 to 27 at the Boiler Shop in Newcastle, issued the call for four specific categories: technology, next generation, people and stories.

The annual two-day conference will attract up to 400 delegates and provides an opportunity for built environment professionals to exchange knowledge on the emerging ideas and technological advancements in digital construction.

There will be 32 seminar sessions and four keynote speakers discussing the latest trends and innovations in the sector.

BIM Show Live builds on the North East’s growing reputation as a centre for digital construction, being home to specialist BIM companies like NBS and the BIM Academy.

Details of where to submit papers to speak at BIM Show Live can be found at www.bimshowlive.co.uk. The deadline for submissions is November 7.

Rob Charlton, CEO of Space Group and co-founder of BIM Show Live said, “The construction sector has travelled a long way in the last ten years. Now we have fantastic models full of data, the big question is, what’s next?

“BIM Show Live is the platform for the industry to look ahead, to forecast, plan and also challenge what we see coming around the corner.

“From smart technologies to AI, the future continues to look incredibly expansive. That’s why BIM Show Live 2020 will be as stimulating and thought provoking as ever.”
