Perspective Financial Group expands with four acquisitions

A financial planning and wealth management company says it has taken “decisive steps to become the leading firm” in its sector following four acquisitions.

Perspective Financial Group has taken on companies in Warrington, Kent, Oxfordshire and Bury.

It has also made two senior appointments to its management team.

Bosses say the deals have added £350 million worth of assets under management (AUM) and 600 clients to its books, giving Perspective £3.6 billion AUM and 23,000 customers in total.

In Warrington, Perspective has bought Prolific Financial Services to increase its network of local offices to 19.

All six Prolific staff and directors have transferred to Perspective, with founders Phil Newton and Simon Allan continuing to lead its office.

Elsewhere, Perspective, which has offices in Newcastle and Darlington, has acquired Sevenoaks’ Evolve Financial Management.

In addition, Bowman Financial Planning, in Burford, Oxfordshire, has joined Perspective’s office in Woodstock.

Two staff members will transfer to Perspective in the deal, with founder Paul Catling and other advisers set to retire later this year.

 

 

Perspective’s fourth acquisition is Bury’s Quantum Portfolio Management, which provides advice to recipients of damages from catastrophic personal injury and medical negligence claims.

The business has complemented the deals with the arrival of two staff members.

Fay Anderson has joined from intelliflo to lead the implementation of the latest intelliflo systems across Perspective’s 19 offices.

Stuart Groves has joined as manager in the training and competence function to support growth in the onboarding of advice teams and development of staff.
