Pest control firm eyes growth after Redcar UKSE base expansion
July 25, 2023
A pest controller is looking to create jobs after moving to larger headquarters.
Kill Line Pest Control wants controllers and a commercial contracts manager.
The recruitment plans follow the business’ switch to a bigger home at Redcar’s UKSE Innovation Centre.
Known for dealing with animals including rats, pigeons, ants and bed bugs, the three-person firm also provides a bee recovery service – and founder Sean Mooney said its new home will only strengthen its offer.
He said: “Vermin can prove a real hazard to many businesses, and we are supporting companies involved in everything from engineering and shipping to retail and hospitality.
“The facilities at the Innovation Centre are great, and just what we needed to continue our expansion,” added the former farrier.
Based on Kirkleatham Business Park, Kill Line Pest Control’s office and storage space is managed by Tata Steel business-support subsidiary UKSE.
Diane Parker, UKSE administrator, added: “Sean and his team have joined a friendly and supportive community with around 50 businesses operating in sectors from engineering to software.
“It is also very reassuring for us to know that we now have one of the leading pest control services right here – should we ever need them!”
