Not long now until Hardwick Festival 2024

The sun is shining, summer is here, and festival season is well underway.

As festivals such as Glastonbury, Parklife and Download wind down, here in the North East we’re just getting started.

Situated in the picturesque grounds of Sedgefield’s Hardwick Hall, Hardwick Festival is gearing up to mark its tenth anniversary.

Jonathan Woodliffe, who has organised the event since its inception, says: “It’s great to have a festival like this on the doorstep for the people of the North East.

“We value the support of everyone who visits the festival.

“We hope they continue supporting our journey and help us build a festival that’s bigger and better each year.”

What’s on?

To celebrate the significant milestone, the team have gone all out on creating a stellar line-up suitable for every music taste.

Headliners include Becky Hill, Snow Patrol and Richard Ashcroft, with iconic acts such as Blossoms, Jack Savoretti and Sophie Ellis-Bextor, with over 60 live artists rounding off the bill.

The beloved festival has grown from a boutique one-day event to three full days over the weekend of 16 – 18 August, with organisers priding themselves on offering a weekend to remember for everyone.

Alongside the fantastic line-up and wide variety of food and drink options, the festival offers a fairground and children’s area, ensuring endless entertainment for attendees of all ages.

Corporate offerings

For those seeking an extra-special experience, larger corporate groups can elevate their festival day by pre-booking a premium tipi. Placed in a prime location facing the main stage, these exclusive areas cater for up to 50 guests, offering an unparalleled view and a truly memorable setting.

The tipis include a private outdoor seating area, licenced bar, lunch and evening meal, the company’s logo on the entrance, security, a personalised wristband and VIP parking.

It’s a popular choice for businesses across the region to blow off steam and enjoy a fantastic day out.

Jonathan adds: “We have various companies that come back year-on-year, which is a testament to it being an excellent day out to treat staff or entertain clients.”

Supporting the North East

Hardwick Festival not only attracts national and international artists but also shines a spotlight on North East talent, providing a crucial platform for local artists to perform and gain recognition.

Jonathan says: “We’re always looking to support local talent.

“We have a stage called the Summit Stage that has acoustic artists over the three days, and all the acts on there are from the North East.”

Sponsorship opportunities

There are still a variety of sponsorship opportunities available for this year’s festival.

Whether you’re a business looking to offer out samples, test a new product or gain valuable brand recognition, Hardwick Festival is the perfect opportunity to showcase your business to a wide audience.

Hardwick Festival takes place on 16, 17 and 18 August 2024, at Hardwick Hall, in Sedgefield, with gates opening at 2pm on the Friday.
