Technology firm secures Innovate UK grant for new AI features

Marketing tech firm PolyBox has secured the Innovate UK Creative Catalyst grant, with plans to further develop their data analysis and reporting technology.

PolyBox, founded by Newcastle University graduates Rojin Yarhmadi and Nikolaos Benopoulos, specialises in automated data analysis, reporting, and artificial intelligence for marketers and marketing agencies.

Their flagship product is a tool designed to simplify and enhance the way marketing agencies manage and interpret data.

PolyBox’s tool provides instant insights into campaign performance across different channels and automates the generation of detailed PowerPoint-style reports for clients.

The newly secured funding will enable PolyBox to further develop this technology, with a key area of focus of the introduction of an AI.

This new feature will integrate third-party open-source data into the existing model, offering even more comprehensive analysis capabilities.

The AI enhancement in PolyBox’s product is designed to significantly reduce the time marketers spend answering critical client queries. By leveraging advanced machine learning algorithms and natural language processing, the AI will sift through vast datasets to provide precise actionable insights.

Nikolaos Benopoulos, PolyBox co-founder and chief marketing officer said: “As a non technical person I immediately understood the power of AI when I first came across it.

“The abilities and power that we can harness through this technology can really push the boundaries of what is considered possible in the marketing industry.

“Only our imagination can put limits on what we are developing. That is why we are so excited to have the support of Innovate UK. We really think with this grant we can actualise our plans and hopes for what we want to build.”

Rojin Yarahmadi, PolyBox co-founder and chief executive said: “AI was always something that we have been testing to see how far we can take things with it.

“We never would have thought that by the time we would work on our product AI would have begun to grow to the thing that it has become now.

“We feel very happy that now the industry is ready to accept it as a tool to optimise day to day activities. And with the help of the grant we really believe we are going to build something great.”
