National scope for 0800 Repair Gas

The Houghton le Spring-headquartered firm, which was established in 2010 and forms part of the Pacifica Group, completed more than 15,600 jobs over the last 12 months, with its team of heating engineers and boiler repair specialists travelling a combined 682,500 miles.

In addition, the firm invested in both its workforce and infrastructure with the creation of 12 new jobs, taking its employee count to 60, and purchased eight new vehicles for its engineers.

Phil Pallister, Managing Director of 0800 Repair Gas, is now hoping to expand the business so that it is in a position to branch out nationwide and serve customers throughout the country.

He said: “We are looking to build on last year’s positivity with the ultimate aim of extending our service nationwide by the end of 2017. Further investments and job creation are on the horizon as we look to make this a reality, which I didn’t think would be a possibility, only a distant dream.

“Our engineers and heating specialists have continued to perform exceptionally well and by increasing our workforce, I am expecting a further increase in the number of jobs that we carry out in the region, which will boost the gas services arm of the Pacifica Group.”

0800 Repair Gas currently serves domestic and commercial markets in the entire North East region.

Phil added: “There is plenty of positivity within 0800 Repair Gas and the Group, as a whole, as we look to extend our service and geographical reach outside of our North East roots. Despite starting out from scratch and in a competitive and flooded marketplace seven years ago, the company has continued to grow and thrive, and I am excited by what the future holds.”
