Horizonworks continues expansion with three new appointments

Antonia Edwards and Vanessa Robinson have joined the team as client marketing managers within the Newcastle-based firm’s Marketing and PR division, while Camilla Bailey has been appointed as marketing executive, working across the team on marketing, PR and digital projects.
Horizonworks has seen a period of rapid growth over the last six months, securing a number of new clients across sectors such as automotive, professional services, manufacturing and healthcare.
2016 also saw Horizonworks partner with The Advanced Manufacturing Forum, the largest manufacturing forum in the North East, to undertake its marketing and PR activities as well as launch its Marketing Club.
Antonia, from Northumberland, has extensive experience of working within media relations and will be responsible for supporting the company’s regional and national clients in the delivery of their PR and marketing strategies.
A communications and PR graduate, Antonia spent several years working in media relation positions for organisations including Balfour Beatty, Homes for Northumberland and Pharma Nord.
Her experience has included working on B2B and B2C campaigns within construction, infrastructure development, healthcare, local government and digital sectors.
Commenting on her appointment, Antonia said: “Horizonworks is renowned for delivering high-quality strategic marketing to its clients and I am excited to be joining such a dynamic organisation.

Vanessa, from South Shields, is a Chartered Institute of Marketing qualified professional with over 15 years’ experience working within PR and Marketing. Her responsibilities at Horizonworks will include delivering clients’ marketing and PR strategies, ensuring the smooth running of campaigns and a high-quality delivery of services.
Vanessa has a vast depth of expertise working with clients in the professional services, leisure and business tourism, inward investment and education sectors.
Prior to joining Horizonworks, Vanessa was a senior account manager at a North East-based PR consultancy. She has also undertaken marketing roles in organisations such as NewcastleGateshead Initiative, Immunodiagnostic Systems, BE Group and national awarding organisation NCFE.
Vanessa said: ”Horizonworks has an impressive portfolio of clients that is growing almost by the day. It’s an exciting time to be joining the team and I’m looking forward to being part of the continuing success of both Horizonworks and our clients’ businesses.”
Camilla, from Norwich, joins Horizonworks having recently graduated from Newcastle University with an MSc in International Marketing. As a marketing executive, Camilla will be responsible for the delivery of Horizonworks’ marketing plan as well client marketing campaigns.
Speaking about her recent appointment, Camilla explained: “As a graduate, the opportunity to join Horizonworks, a company that encourages initiative and ambition, was highly attractive to me. This role offers the perfect opportunity for me to take on responsibility and develop my skills across all aspects of the marketing mix.”
Horizonworks was founded by managing director Samantha Davidson in 2010. It specialises in business to business marketing for organisations working in manufacturing and engineering, healthcare and life sciences, technology and innovation, professional services and the public sector.
Working with a wide range of regional, national and global organisations, Horizonworks offers the full spectrum of marketing services, including strategic marketing, public relations, design, brand development and digital marketing.
