AAA Caring Caretaker ‘on next phase of journey’ after Bowburn office move

A family cleaning business says it is “beginning the next phase of growth” after creating jobs in an office move.

AAA Caring Caretaker has switched from Newton Aycliffe to Bowburn North Industrial Estate.

Bosses say the move, which complements office space with warehousing, has delivered ten new posts and will allow the business to tender for larger projects.

Alison Stephenson, managing director, said: “The building is the perfect base to begin the next phase of our growth journey, and gives us the space we need to continue to expand.”

Founded by Richard H Tucker in 2015, the company provides cleaning and caretaker services to companies and organisations across the North East and Yorkshire, including the NHS, PD Ports and the Ministry of Defence.

It employs more than 40 people, including 17 ex-armed forces personnel, nine of which have unseen disabilities.

Richard said: “We have created a flagship centre for the business, which will include office space and storage facilities, as well as leaving us with land leftover for future development as we continue to grow.

“In addition, we’ll be welcoming our first tenant Lifting and Cooling; this will provide an additional source of income and utilises space we don’t currently need.

“It’s an exciting time.”

The business’ move to its new headquarters, known as Polar House, was backed by grant support from the County Durham Growth Fund.
