Agilico reveals Team Valley office recruitment drive

A technology firm says it will create jobs in an office revamp.

Agilico wants business development, account and finance staff for its Team Valley hub.

The recruitment push comes amid a wider sustainability drive, with the operator – which provides information management and telecoms support – aiming to become net-zero by 2030.

Its blueprint includes the fitting of solar panels to its Team Valley base, and the company holds further ambitions to run a fully electric or hybrid vehicle fleet by 2024.

A spokesperson said: “The expansion of the office will allow us to bring together workers from two sites into one upgraded facility, which will enhance operational efficiency, reduce duplication and foster a collaborative work environment.

“The climate emergency provides the single biggest challenge to civilisation, and without limiting the planet’s warming we will see catastrophic climate disasters.

“We all have a part to play, and as a major leader in workplace technology, we recognise the positive impact we can have.

“We see net-zero as a fundamental platform in our future vision, and by taking the lead in our sector, we hope to inspire other organisations to follow suit.”
