Animmersion UK provides event solution amid COVID-19 postponements

A technology company has secured a new agreement that will ensure business connections remain strong in the post-COVID-19 landscape.

Animmersion UK is creating immersive meeting spaces for Invertek Drives Ltd.

Bosses say Middlesbrough-based Animmersion’s technology will allow the firm to promote its products to multiple clients in any location.

Intertek Drives designs and makes variable frequency drives that are used to control electric motors in a range of commercial, industrial and energy-saving applications.

Based in Wales, the company exports more than 90 per cent of its products to in excess of 80 countries worldwide.

However, with the COVID-19 pandemic forcing the cancellation of global events, the business needed another way to connect with clients and showcase its technology.

Using Animmersion’s Virtual Interactive Event (VIE) service – which has been fast-tracked to overcome current public health challenges – Intertek Drives is now able to use technologies such as online interactive maps and product explorers to promote products to multiple clients in any location.

Bosses say Animmersion’s apparatus also allows the delivery of a comprehensive virtual event and remote presentation service that is tailored to individual client needs.

Furthermore, the service provides the opportunity to host live presentations and demonstrate products and services to multiple delegates who can interact via a range of display solutions from desktop interaction to virtual or augmented reality.

Additionally, through the integration of existing digital assets, such as 3D CAD data digitised brochures and video content, Animmersion says it can help companies provide an engaging experience for customers without the need to travel to meetings or exhibitions.
