Business Durham commits long term support to EMCON

Just weeks after announcing Swiss manufacturing company Stadler Rail UK as its first headline sponsor, EMCON is delighted to confirm Business Durham as a long-term supporter.

The business support organisation was the manufacturing and engineering expo’s very first sponsor when the event launched in 2008.

And now the EMCON team can confirm that Business Durham has committed to sponsoring the event for the foreseeable future and supporting its continued growth.

David Land, Chairman of County Durham Engineering and Manufacturing Network (CDEMN) which organises EMCON, said: “It’s been a huge couple of months for our event since we announced the rebrand to EMCON.

“The growth of EMCON is down in large part to the support we’ve had year on year from Business Durham and we see them as being a key driver of our continued success over the years to come, so to have them confirm their long-term support as sponsorship is fantastic news.

“With Business Durham once again on board, and the additional support we’re getting from Stadler Rail UK and Jackson Hogg, who we recently announced were joining the team as delivery partner, we’re confident 2018 will be our best yet.”
