Summers-Inman opens Teesside office after spate of contract wins

A construction and property consultancy has expanded its Northern operations following project wins in Teesside.

Summers-Inman has opened an office at Belasis Hall Technology Park, in Billingham.

The move comes as the firm prepares to start work on a project at Middlesbrough College, as well as other schemes in the area, and builds on a longstanding relationship with Teesside University.

And director David Blakey says the foundations are now in place for further steady expansion of the team across Teesside.

He said: “We have opened this office to allow our existing team members to work closely with clients and directly develop our client base from our new hub.

“We already have extensive experience of working with clients in the educational, retail and residential sectors in the region, and we will be able to expand our industrial, process and production and biotech client base.”

He also said the site, which complements its Newcastle head office and a base in Leeds, will help the firm recruit new workers and meet sustainability goals.

He added: “The new office is an opportunity to cast the net wider to attract talent and give our teams greater flexibility about where they want to work, and help us towards becoming carbon neutral by 2025.”
