Continual growth leads to office move for insight agency

North East-based insight and engagement agency Explain Market Research is moving to The Core at Helix in Newcastle City Centre to support their team as a result of their unprecedented growth in the last 20 months.

With a growing national client base, Explain Market Research has been providing quality, actionable insights to inform strategic decision-making to a range of organisations across the UK for over two decades. Having been based at their Leazes Park Road office for the majority of this time, this Autumn, bucking the trend, Explain will take a substantial space at The Core, Newcastle Helix site to allow the team to have a designated clubhouse to work from coming out of the pandemic.

The Core opened its doors in November 2014 and is now full of innovative businesses working on a range of future city themes and is recognised as being a special place for collaboration, research and for business growth.

Kim Davis, Managing Partner said “We consulted with our team and one thing that was clear coming out of the pandemic was the want for a return to the ‘office’ in some form. We have grown the team over the last 20 months and had outgrown our current office. Having listened to the team, we knew we must find an inspiring space for us to all collectively work, and The Core stood out to us.”

Following a successful MBO in 2019, Explain has experienced rapid growth. The company has continued to grow revenue and net profitability which has led to investment in new solutions and its team over the last two years/ The agency has won new clients including the Ministry of Defence, National Savings and Investments and a large-scale contract with the four UK Gas Distribution Networks (GDNs.)
