Devine Chemicals sets out growth plans with office moves

A chemical maker and distributor says it has laid a platform to build on “phenomenal growth” after complementing a new head office with a European base.

Devine Chemicals has switched to larger premises in Annfield Plain, near Stanley, County Durham.

The firm has also opened a second office and warehouse in Heerhugowaard, in the Netherlands.

Bosses say the sites will play an instrumental role in the company’s long-term growth across the UK and Europe, by scaling up infrastructure and resources, and bolstering customer numbers across markets such as coatings, construction and agrochemical.

The business’ products include DeCAL, a range of synthetic thickener and dispersants, and DeLOUR, a range of water-based and solvent-based pigments.

Dan Devine, commercial director [pictured, above], said: “Our new headquarters and European office will enable us to further nurture and grow our team, and bolster our product portfolio, to meet the needs of our growing global customer base and respond quickly to industry changes.”
