Durham’s Indigo Software secures Philippines partner deal

A tech operator behind warehouse management systems has announced a partnership with an Asian IT firm.

Indigo Software is working with Philippines-headquartered iComputing Solutions (iCSI).

Bosses at Durham-based Indigo say the alliance comes amid significant growth in the Philippines’ logistics and supply chain sector.

Driven by government spending on roads, the rise of e-commerce and increased need for cold storage and transport across food and pharmaceuticals, officials say Indigo’s technology will help warehouses handle larger volumes of traffic and improve efficiency.

Mike Hill, Indigo’s chief software officer, said: “Our Philippines operation is going from strength-to-strength.

“We have a rapidly growing technical team of developers and support staff, and now this partnership will ensure we can further meet customer demand for project implementations.”

Emmanuel Ramasola, iCSI president, added: “We are experiencing a high level of interest among manufacturers and logistics companies looking to automate their warehouse operations; they want the reassurance of a warehouse management system provider with a locally-based operation.

“Indigo has demonstrated its commitment to the Philippines market and offers the perfect solution.”
