Elmtronics expands workforce to fuel future growth

A North East-headquartered electric vehicle technology firm is expanding its workforce following significant industry growth.

Elmtronics is seeking senior figures for roles across the country.

The company – which is the UK’s largest independent supplier and installer of electric vehicle charging equipment – wants regional business development managers for the South East, South West and North West.

In its North East homeland, Consett-headquartered Elmtronics is advertising for a partnership manager and an operations director.

Specialising in electric car charging points for homes, businesses and the public sector, Elmtronics works with some of the largest councils, NHS trusts and private companies nationwide to design, install and maintain charging stations.

Referring to its workforce expansion, Dan Martin, founder and managing director, said: “We have seen a huge rise in demand for our services and are now looking to bring more talent into the business to help us achieve our ambitious growth targets.

“We’re looking for dynamic people who want to be part of an industry that is rapidly growing.

“Electric vehicles are to play a huge part in the global move towards more sustainable transport.

“They will become ever more prominent within cities and towns in which journeys can be planned with ease and charging infrastructure is more readily available.

“We see a world where electrified mobility is fully inclusive, and no one should feel left behind,” adds Dan.

“We really care about the world and are dedicated to developing our people to be the best they can be.”
