A law firm has marked its tenth anniversary with an appointment it says will strengthen Southern expansion plans.
EMG Solicitors has welcomed Court of Protection (COP) director Rebecca Sparrow.
Bosses say her arrival boosts the firm’s footprint and client offering across the South, South East and London.
Boasting nearly 15 years’ COP experience and time at a number of leading national law firms, Rebecca has assumed the position of deputy trustee and attorney.
Her appointment marks EMG Solicitors’ first venture outside the North – where it has offices in Durham, Newcastle, Darlington, Penrith and Manchester – and takes its director group to 11.
Rebecca said: “I’ve always admired EMG Solicitors.
“Its growth and strong reputation in COP are to be admired, as are its values and ethos.
“EMG is incredibly passionate about what it does, and delivers an outstanding client service that puts its people at the heart of the business.”
Emma Gaudern, EMG Solicitors’ managing director, who co-founded the firm with Jemma Morland a decade ago, added: “Rebecca’s appointment comes at an exciting time.
“With 51 colleagues now in our COP team, this will always remain one of our key specialisms, and Rebecca’s expertise is a fantastic asset.”
