EMG Solicitors expands into Cumbria with new office

A legal firm has opened a third office to maintain its growth.

EMG Solicitors is now based in Penrith.

Bosses say the office – which adds to Durham and Newcastle hubs – will support the business’ continued growth, which has seen revenue increase in the last year by 28 per cent to £4.3 million, and total headcount grow to more than 100.

The site will be led by director and wills, trusts and probate solicitor Samantha Edward, who will be joined by experienced property and family lawyers.

Emma Gaudern, EMG managing director, said: “The Penrith office marks an incredibly exciting time as we continue to grow and expand.

“I’m very proud of how far the business has come since our first office opened in Durham in 2014.

“We are one big family here, and it’s wonderful to see it flourish.

Samantha added: “For me, the new office marks a return home, to where I was born and bred, so it’s a very special moment in my career.

“Having a real understanding of the area and local community is also something I hope will provide added value to our clients.”
