EnAppSys makes European expansion – and plans further recruitment

A data, consultancy and information services firm has strengthened its European presence with a trio of market moves.

EnAppSys has opened a German office, expanded into Hungary and appointed a Paris-based market analyst.

Bosses say the ventures will help the Stockton-headquartered business meet a target of tripling its workforce to more than 100 over the next two years.

Founded in 2003, EnAppSys provides data, consultancy and information services to energy and power generation companies across several European markets, including Belgium, France, the Netherlands and Ireland.

And director Phil Hewitt says its latest expansion – which includes a Dusseldorf office and the welcoming of Hungary-based Gábor Szatmári – will only further bolster its course.

He said: “We’ve been around for almost 20 years, and in the last couple of years we’ve really stepped up our expansion plans.

“Our recent rapid growth has seen us gain traction in various European markets, secure a raft of new customers, and recruit key members of staff who will take us into our next phase of growth.

“We’re looking to expand further across Europe, but we’ll continue to do so from our Teesside roots.”
