Frank Recruitment Group reveals 1500-job blueprint – with a number planned for North East

A cloud technology recruitment firm has revealed plans to create more than 1500 jobs – with a number earmarked for the North East.

Frank Recruitment Group says it wants new staff to support operations “as the recovery of the tech market outperforms expectations”.

Bosses say most of its new positions will be entry-level sales roles, with scores expected to be created at its Newcastle office.

The business already employs about 2000 people across Europe, North America, Australasia and Asia.

Officials say they are hiring around 130 people every month, with their increased drive primed to lift global headcount by 80 per cent.

Zoë Morris, president at Frank Recruitment Group, said its new staff will be crucial to supporting a software market that is expected to expand by ten per cent in 2021 and 2022 amid higher use of security platforms, an uptick in AI functionality, and custom app development.

She said: “The demand for tech professionals right now is unprecedented.

“Businesses are implementing new platforms and processes that will enable them to be more efficient and more competitive, and they cannot do that without access to tech talent.

“The need for our support not only to help organisations source professionals with the right skills to get the job done, but retain and develop them as well, has never been greater.

“The sheer number of new roles we’re going to be creating within our business speaks of the enormous potential that exists in the tech market.”
