George F White strengthens market position with merge

George F White, leading independent property consultancy, has welcomed Johnson Tucker LLP into its consultancy practice, which spans the North East of England, Yorkshire and southern Scotland, as it looks to further strengthen its commercial property footprint both in the region and beyond.
With their flagship office in Newcastle, George F White has evolved significantly in the 43 years of its history and the business is now a multi-disciplinary consultancy, offering expertise in the commercial, development, residential and rural sectors. It has identified its commercial property team as being a key area for expansion in its business plan, building on previous recruitments and investments in specialisations in areas such as building surveying and capital taxation.
With a significant track record of delivering and achieving projects at scale, this move will see George F White build on the holistic approach it offers clients. The blending of skills and expertise from the Johnson Tucker team will create one of the largest commercial property teams in the North of England, employing over 100 people and operating out of 6 offices across the region.
Throughout its 43 years in business, the George F White team has established a strong market position in the UK’s northern commercial property sector, with general practice surveying, valuations, building surveying, capital taxation surveying being the mainstay of the practice.
Established in 2006, Johnson Tucker LLP specialises in chartered surveying and commercial property and is particularly strong in commercial investment and agency and property management. Its integration into George F White will ensure a complementary offering for clients.
Joint founders and partners of Johnson Tucker, David Johnson and Andrew Tucker will remain with the combined business. Andrew together, with Gary Robinson and Daniel Capobasso, as partners and David as a consultant.
