Greaves West & Ayre makes senior appointment following centenary celebration

A North East business advisory firm has appointed a private banking and wealth management specialist to boost growth across its wealth division.

Greaves West & Ayre has appointed David Simpson as business development consultant for investment business.

David will help the firm boost its wealth management offering, which is a key growth area for the team of chartered accountants.

Having previously worked for private banking company Coutts and law firm Womble Bond Dickinson (WBD), David has had a long career in the professional services world, advising and assisting wealth individuals and their families.

In 2020, GWA Wealth was ranked 27th in the Top 100 adviser firms in the UK as determined by FT Adviser.

The company has recently celebrated 100 years since its foundation, with David now set to help its clients throughout the North East with taxation and planning affairs.
