Growth for Sintons’ dispute resolution team
April 12, 2018
The highly-esteemed dispute resolution team at law firm Sintons has seen strong growth following the appointments of three new senior figures.
The team – hailed as being “absolutely brilliant” by Legal 500 2017 – has taken on two Associates and one Senior Associate to add further expertise and capability to the department.
And in the short time since the appointments of Senior Associate Emma Saunders – who relocated from Top 100 London firm Russell-Cooke to join Sintons – and Associates Lewis Couth and Aimee Hubbard, the department has seen strong growth, with new work being received from around the country.
Each have their own areas of expertise, with Emma being a well-known contentious probate and disputed Court of Protection specialist, and Lewis a specialist in Intellectual Property (IP) and property disputes. Aimee covers a host of areas including professional negligence.
The strong progress of the dispute resolution team comes at a time of growth for Newcastle-based Sintons as a whole, with the firm unveiling its Strategy for Growth – underpinned by the recruitment and retention of outstanding legal talent – and its aspiration to continue to set the standard for legal excellence.
Angus Ashman, head of the dispute resolution department at Sintons, said: “Emma, Lewis and Aimee have all been superb additions to our team and are helping to grow our reputation even further. We are well known as being leaders in our field in the North East and we attract work from clients across the country.
“We have seen a significant increase in caseload in the past few months and have the resource and capability to continue to grow. We are able to handle the most complex of disputes and have the experience, and indeed the expertise, to do so.”
