Host & Stay expands with Host So Simple deal

A family-owned holiday let firm has expanded with a takeover.
Host & Stay has bought Liverpool’s Host So Simple.
Bosses at east Cleveland-based Host & Stay say the deal has bolstered its portfolio to more than 900 properties, providing an “even wider range of exceptional accommodation”.
Dale Smith, chief executive at Host & Stay, which is part of the wider SDDE Smith Group, said: “We are extremely proud to welcome the Host So Simple brand.
“From our initial discussions, it was quickly evident we held the same passion for property, the same family-backed values, and that we were operating very similar businesses.
“The merger represents a significant step forward.”
Joe Davies, Host So Simple founder, added: “We are genuinely excited about the possibilities merging with a brand like Host & Stay brings.
