Kingston ‘pushes on with growth plans’ under new managing director

A property management organisation has made a senior appointment.

Kingston has promoted Paul Carter to managing director.

He succeeds Colin Ord, who has switched to a part-time business development director role.

Newcastle-based Kingston manages developments across the North East, Cumbria and Yorkshire, and includes the residential estate management arm Open Spaces and estate and lettings agent Living Spaces.

It is also the commercial arm of Bernicia Group.

Paul said: “I am delighted to have the opportunity to lead Kingston as we take the business forward with such a strong team across all areas of the commercial business.

“The aim is to push on with our growth as we move into new geographical areas, while continuing to provide excellent services to our clients and ensuring we stay as leaders within our industry.

“It is an exciting time for the commercial company with a very encouraging pipeline of future business.”

John Johnston, Bernicia chief executive, said: “Paul is a driven and committed leader with a proven track record of delivering new growth at Kingston in his previous role as assistant director.

“His 18 years’ experience at Kingston means he is passionate about the business with a deep understanding of all its facets and is the perfect appointment to succeed Colin as managing director.”
