MySalesCoach seeks to ‘capitalise on early success’ with £700,000 support

A sales coaching firm has unveiled expansion plans following £700,000 support.

MySalesCoach says it will “capitalise on its early success to scale” after North East Innovation Fund backing.

The Newcastle-based business delivers subscription service coaching sessions to teams and individuals, with more than 60 organisations and almost 1000 people having already benefited from its support.

Founder and chief executive Kevin Beales [pictured, above], who runs the business alongside Mark Ackers, said: “Sales coaching is proven to have great impact on results and growth, yet managers lack the time and expertise to deliver as much coaching as their teams crave.

“It’s the problem our founders have been committed to solving for over a decade.”

MySalesCoach secured its financial backing through the North East Innovation Fund, which is supported by the European Development Fund and managed by Northstar Ventures, and picked up additional angel investment.

It builds on a previous funding round in December 2022, wherein MySalesCoach raised £560,000 from the North East Innovation Fund and angel investors.

Tom O’Neill, Northstar Ventures’ investment manager, added: “We’re pleased to support MySalesCoach with further funding, which will enable it to build on its impressive progress.

“Kevin and Mark have developed a compelling offering, which has seen significant interest from a variety of customers.”
