NEPIC welcomes trio to boost membership offer

A chemical sector support organisation has strengthened its team.

The North East Process Industry Cluster (NEPIC) has welcomed Abigail Bell, Lesley Hawke and Dawn Musgrave.

Aerospace engineering graduate Abigail joins as an innovation executive, with Lesley taking on the role of membership account manager.

Dawn is NEPIC’s new project manager for Supply Chain North East, which helps SMEs diversify and move into new markets.

Officials say their arrival strengthens the organisation’s focus on innovation and its commitment to helping its 300-plus membership meet net-zero, clean growth and carbon capture targets.

Philip Aldridge, NEPIC chief executive, said: “Abigail provides a fresh perspective in our innovation team, so we are looking forward to witnessing how her work mapping the Tees Valley process industries with spin off projects around clean growth will benefit our members.

“We are thrilled to welcome Lesley as membership account manager.

“Her knowledge of business support, developed from many years in the industry, has so far been a crucial asset to the membership team, successfully enhancing our membership journey from first point of contact.

“We are also pleased to be working with Dawn – having previously managed several large projects, she is a perfect fit for this role.”

Joanne Fryett, operations director, added: “We are champions of innovation and have recruited the best individuals for these roles to ensure it’s our members who will benefit most.

“The feedback we have received from our members following the new appointments has been fantastic.

“This is just another step in the implementation of our long-term vision for NEPIC.”
