New appointment for Archers Law

Local law firm announces growth success despite coronavirus lockdown, with senior appointment in the corporate team.
The team at Archers Law are delighted to announce the appointment of senior solicitor, David Lucas. David joined the Corporate and Commercial team on July 14, 2020 and has begun adapting to the firm’s ways of working during the pandemic.
David’s career in the Teesside area spans nearly 25 years and he brings with him a wealth of experience in Corporate and Commercial Law, including 11 years at partner level. David said he is ‘ looking forward to joining a highly regarded and ambitious growing local firm which places great value on the relationships it has with its clients.’
David is joining the Corporate and Commercial team at Archers Law, which has seen significant growth over the past 5 years. The team was ranked in the most recent Legal 500 as a top tier law firm with Daniel Flounders gaining recognition as a ‘next generation partner’.

The appointment follows last year’s growth with the appointment of Oliver Hebdon in July 2019 and Daniel Flounders’ promotion to partner in April 2019.
David, who has worked in Teesside for nearly 25 years, started out in a marketing and operations role in the chemical sector.
Following a change in career, he has spent the past 19 years as a Corporate and Commercial Lawyer. David’s experience includes; company and business sales and acquisitions, mergers, shareholder agreements, joint ventures and general company law, writing both simple and complex commercial contracts across a wide range of business sectors. He also has experience advising charities and the education sector on governance and advising Academy Trusts on school acquisitions.
Aside from work, David is a keen cyclist and also enjoys walking around some of the fantastic areas in the North East. He is also a golfer and has been using some of his time during lockdown to brush up on his golf skills.
Archers Law has longstanding roots in the regional area. It has grown from humble beginnings on the high street to a modern law firm employing nearly 70 talented people across its business and personal legal teams.
