New arrival strengthens team at Durham’s Plexus Innovation

A remote technology company has expanded its team.

Plexus Innovation has welcomed Kevin Belben as commercial manager.

He will work alongside the Durham-based firm’s managing director Ian Murray, technical director Steve Todd and Antonia Brindle, in marketing, to build the business’ commercial awareness.

Bringing more than eight years’ experience in the water systems remote technology sector, alongside a background in business support, property and telecoms, bosses say Kevin will help introduce the firm’s GUARDIAN technology to more people.

The apparatus acts as an automated measurement and alert system that focuses on environmental data, which reduces the risk of legionella by ensuring temperatures in water or refrigeration units are at optimum levels to protect health.

Kevin, who is from Cheshire and will fulfil a UK-wide role, said: “It is a very positive time to join, at the beginning of Plexus’ driven aspiration for large growth; I share the same ethics and drivers to help organisations do things differently – and do them better.

“GUARDIAN provides a whole host of solutions including reducing risk, reducing costs and improving business performance along with improving environmental performance.”

Ian added: “We have found a strong addition to our team in Kevin.

“With his objective to grow the existing customer base, as well as working with new potential clients, Kevin will be well placed to develop remote technology across a range of market sectors, alongside myself and Steve.

“We share the same desire to generate awareness, grow understanding and make implementation of our Internet of Things remote technology a must-have compliance and wider business improvement solution.”
