Provincial Seals launches new training site to create more career opportunities

An insulation products firm has updated its training base.

Provincial Seals has revamped its site in Birtley.

Bosses say the move allows the company to offer better training courses at larger capacities.

Established in the 1990s, Provincial Seals supplies the construction industry with energy efficient materials.

It also provides retrofit training and support to improve the careers of insulation installers.

The firm says its base will play a major role in the Government’s plans to achieve a net-zero society by 2050, by providing tuition to make necessary changes happen.

It says its site, dubbed a centre for excellence includes flat roof, underfloor, room in roof, an internal wall and external wall professional rigs, as well as a classroom for theoretical development.

Kevin Redhead, head of group training, said: “We’re really excited to announce the opening of our new facility in light of recent industry changes.

“It’s never been more crucial that retrofit installers ensure the care of their customers, buildings, and the compliance around installation, which we deliver through our engaging and practical training.”
