North East trend agency appoints trend director

North East based trend agency TrendBible has appointed Naomi Pollard as trend director.

The appointment comes as the firm moves into its next phase of growth – with turnover expected to double by 2026.

TrendBible moved from printed trend publications to a digital trend subscription service during the pandemic.

They now have over fifteen thousand subscribers to their platform and work with retailers and brands in over 20 countries.

Naomi joined TrendBible in 2010 as an intern, progressing to freelance editor, senior trend strategist and then head of publications.

Joanna Feeley, TrendBible’s founder and chief executive said: “One of the joys of growing a business for me is growing the team.

“We have a fantastic retention rate and constantly work hard to make it the kind of place people want to stay.

“It’s a testament to Naomi’s ability to rise to every challenge and seek personal growth that she’s been able to rise through the ranks from intern, to freelancer, to trend researcher and all the way through to become our first trend director.

“Her appointment is critical for us to continue to hire and train world class trend forecasters to meet the demands of the world’s most forward-thinking brands.”

Naomi said: “This role is truly special to me, having dedicated over a decade to the business. Even as an intern, I wholeheartedly believed in the vision and culture Joanna Feeley created at TrendBible, not least the continuous opportunities for growth.”

“I honed my foresight, leadership, and commercial skills here, gaining unparalleled access to strategic decision-making that has propelled my career.

“I am immensely proud of our achievements to date and excited to shape what the future holds for TrendBible.”
