Pacifica Group lauds ‘strength and agility’ as revenues rise

A white and brown goods repair firm has hailed its “incredible strength and agility” after surmounting the effects of the pandemic to create jobs and nurture the workers of tomorrow.

Pacifica Group has taken on more than 100 staff and spent in excess of £1.5 million to bolster an in-house engineering training programme.

The moves came in a year where revenues increased 18 per cent, with turnover rising from £52 million to £61.4 million.

The County Durham-based company repairs more than 350,000 home appliances every year, and chief executive Kevin Brown said it is in a good place to continue its growth.

He said: “Pacifica Group has shown incredible strength and agility following the pandemic and during the current cost of living crisis.

“By putting our customers and colleagues first, we have built a stronger business.

“Our continued investment in our trainee programme means we have a growing and highly-skilled workforce to meet the increased demand we are seeing.”
