A property consultancy has refused to rule out further expansion after bolstering its workforce.
GFW has welcomed 12 staff.
Bosses say the recruitment drive – which means the company has increased its headcount by more than 20 per cent since the start of the year – emphasises its commitment to “evolving our offer to clients”.
The new arrivals include David Davies, who has joined GFW’s Newcastle office as a partner.
Officials say he brings a wealth of experience to operations, having previously worked on hospital projects in the North East and deep underground railway stations in the Middle East.
David said: “The prospect of working in a multi-disciplinary team was a huge draw, as was the focus on developing lasting relationships.
“I’m excited to be part of the next chapter.”
Heather Warburton, a senior rural surveyor, has also joined the Newcastle office, as have senior associate Lesley Ann Riddles, senior building surveyor George Groom, marketing manager Sheela Bell and property management administrator Fiona Atkin.
Valuer Heather Armstrong, assistant farm consultant Archie Grey and farm business consultant Olivia Ward have joined GFW’s Alnwick, Hexham and Bedale offices.
Sally Hart, GFW joint managing partner, added: “We are heavily committed to our rural roots and offering, and the growth we continue to experience not only enhances our capacity to deliver exceptional service but reinforces our position as a key player within the region.
“We are always on the lookout for new talent and have a number of active vacancies.”
