Saggezza starts 2022 with UK recruitment drive
January 28, 2022
A global technology consultancy has kicked off 2022 with the hiring of 20 new employees as it continues to invest in the UK.
Saggezza has bolstered its teams in Sunderland, London, Birmingham and Edinburgh as part of an ambitious recruitment drive that will see it create scores of jobs over the next 12 months.
The company – which was acquired by Silicon Valley tech giant, Infostretch, in March – celebrated the onboarding of its 100th UK employee last year and is anticipating further growth in 2022 following a string of new client wins.
This latest recruitment drive follows the recruiting of 10 graduates in November and has seen people from a range of disciplines join the firm, from senior java developers to test engineers, senior front-end developers and Salesforce specialists.
Martin Williams, managing director at Saggezza UK, said: “Last year proved to be a landmark year for the business, despite the many challenges brought about by the pandemic, and we’re delighted to be in the fortunate position where we can continue to invest in our UK operations throughout 2022.
“Not only did we exceed the 100 employee mark but we also began establishing and building teams in a number of new cities, which – as we look to the future – will not only help us attract talent from all corners of the UK, but will also help us improve our service offering to both new and existing clients.
“Since we opened our first UK office in London, back in 2011, we’ve been delighted by the year-on-year growth the company has charted and the overall contribution our staff have made to the global Saggezza business.
“From delivering complex solutions for global banking giants, or working on joint projects with our teams in India and the US to improve the customer journey for high street retailers, we could never have achieved this had it not been for the dedication of our employees to always deliver for our clients, and the company’s continued commitment to the UK is the perfect testimony of that.”
Fiona Joseph Samy is one of the company’s most recent recruits, having joined the Saggezza Edinburgh team this month as a senior java developer from JP Morgan.
Speaking about her new role, she said: “I’m delighted to be joining Saggezza at what is such an exciting time for the company.
“I was attracted to the company by its diverse client base, and I am looking forward to learning about the different technologies and practices used in their industries.”
Another of the new recruits is Paul Reid, a Salesforce developer who has joined the company’s Sunderland head office after working for Accenture.
Paul said: “I joined Saggezza to become part of an expanding business and Salesforce capability. I hope that by working with both new and experienced technology professionals I’ll be able to quickly develop knowledge, take on exciting new opportunities and advance my career.”
Saggezza is currently recruiting for a number of developers, software testers and salesforce consultants across Edinburgh, Sunderland and Birmingham, with more roles to be advertised over the coming months.
