Samuel Knight International primed for £25 million turnover after ‘fantastic year’

A global recruitment firm says it is primed to chalk up record £25 million turnover following a “fantastic year”.

Newcastle-headquartered Samuel Knight International has hailed its growth trajectory after bolstering staff and operational bases.

The company, which specialises in renewable energy and sustainable transport, runs offices in the UK, Europe and the US.

Steve Rawlingson, founder and chief executive [pictured, below], said: “2023 has been a fantastic year for the business.

“We are delighted to be on course to pass over £25 million in fees, recruiting 15 staff in the process – with a further five by the end of the year – and investing heavily in operational bases.

“We’ve seen record growth across all our specialist divisions, and expect this to continue as the energy transition space continues to grow at a phenomenal pace.”

In the last three years, the 2014-founded business has moved into 12,000sq ft headquarters, which come complete with in-house gym, bar and recreational areas, and opened a Dallas office officials say has achieved $10.7 million turnover in just seven months of trading.

Steve added: “We are very different to other manpower and recruitment providers.

“We only work in renewable energy and sustainable transport and, with that, comes a wealth of knowledge from our consultants, all of whom have worked in these industries for a considerable amount of time.

“We do things very differently to other agencies.

“At the heart of the business is a passion to work in partnership with our global community to help achieve net-zero and close out any skill gaps in the energy transition space.”
