Seven Bridges eyes recruitment after Gateshead office move

A North East financial advice company is set for major job creation after moving to a larger premises in Gateshead.

Seven Bridges IM has set up its new base in Team Valley as it continues to scale-up in the face of COVID-19.

The company hopes to use its old site as a training facility for the new recruits expected to be brought in this year. Already, it has made five new hires to expand its client reach in 2021.

The news follows Seven Bridges’ acquisition of Pension Matters last summer, which brought with it 600 new clients and £110 million in assets under management.

Despite the coronavirus pandemic, the financial advisor is resolute in its determination to reach as many people as possible this year to provide advice about how best to manage wealth.

Managing director Ryan Parker said: “The business has grown steadily over the past few years, and I think both the acquisition and the impact of COVID-19 has put us in touch with many more people who want to navigate their finances professionally.

“It was time to relocate to a more ambitious premises to bring all existing employees back to the workplace safely and within a COVID secure environment.

“We still felt there was a requirement for further members of the team to assist with the growing business enquiries. All of our recruits have exuded positivity and a strong willingness to learn and grow within the firm.

“We firmly believe that the team at Seven Bridges operates as a mini family and we immediately felt our new team members would bring innovative ideas and would strengthen our client offering.

“Our new facility means we can remain in our native Gateshead, but we can now provide our clients with COVID secure meeting rooms on the ground floor.

“I feel the new office provides Seven Bridges with a concrete steppingstone to the next stage of our growth plans and can remain our ‘new home’ for many more years.”
