Stockton’s Erimus Insurance Brokers strengthens team with quintet

An insurance broker has welcomed a quintet of new faces.

Erimus has bolstered its ranks with account brokers, a development executive and apprentices.

The arrivals come ahead of the Stockton company changing its name following a takeover by Gallagher last year.

Lee Elgie, managing director, said: “Our new team members are a great mix of experience and youth, allowing us to continue to grow the business and invest in the future of the region.

“Of the five new starters, three are stepping into totally new roles: Rhianna McHale and Ibby Matloob are joining us as apprentice insurance brokers, while Ed Emerson is stepping into the newly-created post of development executive.

“Meanwhile, Hannah Gardner and Harry Wood are replacing some of our account brokers who have recently retired, bringing a wealth of experience with them.”

Rhianna said: “I’m so excited to be joining Erimus and starting out on my career in insurance. The team are so helpful and friendly, and it’s a wonderful opportunity.”

Referring to the Gallagher takeover, Lee added: “The Erimus management team remains unchanged, and we have a long-term vision to assist our fantastic staff to establish and grow Gallagher’s brand in the Tees Valley and the wider region.

“We’ve got an exciting year ahead, and I’m delighted that we have the best team in place to support us on our journey.”
