The Inn Collection Group reveals 1000-job plans as venues reopen doors

A hospitality operator has unveiled plans to create nearly 1000 jobs.

The Inn Collection Group wants staff as 12 sites reopen across Cumbria, Lancashire, North Wales, North Yorkshire and Tyne & Wear.

Bosses at the Newcastle-headquartered firm say the move will take its headcount to nearly 2000 people.

Roles will include general and assistant managers, head chefs and front of house staff.

Liz Robertson, people director, said: “It is an exciting time with so many sites coming back from refurbishment.

“It is a real source of pride that we are looking to expand our people base.”

Sean Donkin, managing director, added: “Making the hospitality industry one in which people can see themselves long-term and where they can build a career is incredibly important not just to the company, but to me personally.

“It is an incredibly rewarding business where making people happy is the key focus, something which drives us not only in how we want our customers to feel with us, but our people too.”
