Tier One Capital eyes growth with North East England Chamber of Commerce partnership

A wealth management and property lending operator is targeting growth after teaming up with a business membership organisation.

Tier One Capital has signed up to the North East England Chamber of Commerce’s President’s Club.

Bosses say the move will help the Newcastle-based firm – which specialises in financial planning advice, savings, investment management and direct lending services – boost its regional business plans and high-level client base while expanding its professional network.

The President’s Club provides businesses with the opportunity to connect to more than 300 other large businesses, access to an exclusive programme of networking events and a tailored benefits package.

Paul Blight, Tier One Capital’s head of wealth management, said: “We are now looking to accelerate the growth of our business and progress the plans within our wealth management and property lending divisions.

“The President’s Club will provide us with an ideal platform and gateway to connect with other like-minded businesses, senior leaders and help to promote our products and services within the financial sector and to a wider target market area.

“We are delighted to support the region and the Chamber in its role influencing Government policy, public bodies and representing the North of England at the highest level within the UK and global business markets.”

Michelle Ord, the Chamber’s senior relationship manager, added: “We are delighted to have Tier One Capital in our President’s Club.

“The networking opportunities will be beneficial to them and similarly I’m sure they will be an extremely useful source of information for our other members.

“Our Chamber prides itself on saying we are stronger together and it is so true in our region.”

Tier One Capital is also the investment adviser for the listed TOC Property Backed Lending Trust PLC, which specialises in providing finance to residential and commercial property clients.
