Verisure UK to create more than 100 jobs in £3.5 million Quorum Park expansion

An alarm provider is creating more than 100 jobs following a £3.5 million office expansion.

Verisure UK is bolstering staff numbers after switching its centre of excellence from Quorum Park’s Neon building to the North Tyneside site’s Q12 hub.

Bosses say they expect to recruit 120 staff by the end of the year, adding to the company’s existing 650-strong workforce.

They say the move is part of a wider expansion that will take its team to 1200 over the next three years, with roles covering areas including customer service, sales, data analytics and technical advice.

Marketing itself as Europe’s largest alarm provider, the firm hit 100,000 UK customers in March.

Gabino Sanchez, managing director, said: “We came to the North East at the start of 2020, and then COVID-19 hit.

“But due to the tremendous workforce we have, we’ve excelled.

“The North East has proven to be the perfect place to have a major arm of our business, and our aim is to continue to grow.”

Kevin Croft, centre of excellence site director, added: “I am extremely proud of the can-do and supportive culture we have developed, and am delighted that, during these uncertain economic times, we can offer 120 high-quality jobs.”
