youngsRPS announces multiple sports sponsorships

The 20/21 season for sports across the board saw many clubs, teams and athletes face huge financial challenge as support was put on hiatus from both fans and financially from sponsorship.

The easing of lockdown means that sport is back and with it comes the fans, eager to experience sport as it should be.

Graeme Bruce, managing director at Youngs RPS commented: “We believe strongly in supporting our local community and are thrilled to be supporting not only clubs but also individual athletes for what will hopefully be a successful 2021/2022 season!”

youngsRPS aims to support sporting clubs, events and athletes in all communities within which we operate, including associate sponsorship of Darlington Mowden Park Rugby Club, just down the road from our newest estate agency office.

Tom Bulmer, marketing manager at the club, added: “We’re delighted to welcome Youngs RPS to the Mowden Family for the upcoming season. Having spoken to Jan and the team at the Darlington office it’s clear that they have a passion for backing local sport and we’re very grateful for their support this year. We look forward to working with Youngs RPS for many seasons to come!”

This year youngsRPS also agreed the sponsorship of Tom Hutchinson, promising long distance road cyclist. He said: “I’m privileged to be an athlete with personal sponsorship, I know for so many people (particularly young individuals) adequate support is a hinderance to development and success.

“As with other sports there are large associated with cycling, which not only extends to include the expensive equipment, but also other expenses incurred during racing and training (e.g. race fees, travel, physiotherapy to name a few). Over the years as a young professional, I’ve found it particularly difficult to balance the life expenses with sport. I’m lucky enough to now be supported by my team and my employer. I absolutely couldn’t have completed my race season without help from youngsRPS.”

Graeme continues: “Our rural roots mean we are inherently sports fans at heart and sponsoring sports is nothing new to us here. Last year a lot of our planned activity was put on hold as sporting events were cancelled or temporarily suspended but we felt it was important to carry on with sponsorship packages and become even more valuable to partners and sponsors in the future.”
